John Edward Graber is a 16 year-old Amish boy from the mixed Old Order Amish and English town of Jamesport, Missouri, population 505. John has completed school (the Amish finish school at 8th grade) and works full-time for his father Jacob, 52, in the family owned furniture store.
Here, John takes practice shots with his bow and arrow into some haystacks. After working 8 hours days for his allowance John eagerly heads out as often as possible to hunt game.
