Ciel d’août II (august 2010)
A blue sun… I remember the words from a french surrealist poem:
“La terre est bleue comme une orange” (Earth is blue like an orange)
Paul Eluard. 1929 from “L’amour la poésie”. The complete poem is here.
Now you understand why analog photography is above digital pictures : no digital manipulation can create simple beauties … only the magic of chemistry and the aleatory. Poetry and science are two twins extremely differents with their own beauties.
Digital pictures are so cold. Analog photographies are full of life, of extravagance.

Landscape III / Paysage III (mai 2010)
Holga - Fuji 400H périmé.
A view on a quiet place. A late spring. So peaceful moment.
Vue sur un endroit calme. Un printemps en retard. Un moment si paisible.

Ciel d’été (juillet/july 2010)
Far from the human activity, often sterile, I lay here and there.
Loin de l’activité souvent stérile de l’homme, je me pose ici et là.

Paysage I / Landscape I (juin/june 2010)
J’aime le traitement tellement irréel, teinté de nostalgie rêveuse, du Holga. Si différent du polaroid posté plus tôt (même lieu, même date).
I like the treatment so unreal, dreamy nostalgia-tinged, of the Holga. So different from my Polaroid posted earlier (same place, same date).

Après (même photo mais trois jours après).
Same picture as the previous post but after three days : quietly the picture revealed itself. I definitely love Polaroid !
